You are a thirtysomething
You're a little frustrated that you can't hear all the tones that the young 'uns can but will be more than happy if it means you don't have to listen to their damn ringtones on the bus anymore.

The highest pitched ultrasonic mosquito ringtone that I can hear is 14.9kHz

EDIT: Btw, for the record I'm 19 years old.
Wow.. that was pretty cool. I never knew I could hear that well.. (21.1kHz)

Kinda explains all those "static" noises I always hear in my brain... (or could that be a tumor?)

I am 16 at the moment.

Yakuto - Most likely its early signs of tinnitus. Thats how mine started out. As static noises. Then eventually it led to a constant ringing sound. Its not too bad, just annoying.
