Of course I'll buy it. And that's saying something; very little of the software on my PC gets "bought." =D

* Because YAGSACG is better than food sex
Having XP is not a problem by any stretch of the imagination. I'm not going to worry too much if your stats are similar to other people's. It's not just the hardware I'm testing, anyway. The more, the merrier!

For those who don't know what their graphics card is: Go Start->Run, type dxdiag and press enter. Switch to the Display tab. The name of your graphics card is listed at the top, just under the "Device" heading.

VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP, apparently.
Okay, I've sent the beta to everyone who's volunteered so far.

If you want to beta test and haven't posted yet, there's still time! I'd like a few more people if possible.
Once I've made the new version available, I'll close down the old one.

Aw, man, you didn't give me enough time to review it for BWS. :)

Good luck with the pay version, though! Don't forget us when you're rich and famous.
Alright, Crispy!

Having a plate that's too full already, I'm going to have to refrain from adding my name to the list of beta testers... I don't need another distraction (especially not one as addictive as that game!)

However, you can count on me buying a copy when it goes gold!
Haha! I'm on an underpowered machine!

Voodoo something in the AGP slot... Urrgghh.

Also (if singleplayer, the following computers have no net access)
Win98SE
P2 350mhz (Y-e-a-h!)
384mb RAM
Nvidia TNT2 16mb

WinXP Home SP2
AMD Sempron 3000+
512mb RAM
Nvidia FX5200 (may be changed in the near future to a 7x00GT (6 or 8).

Go on... go on go on go on go on go on!
Also, will this have single player support or be purely multiplayer?
Also, will it have LAN support? I want to take it to school and play it in Computing frees and be like I (sort of) KNOW THE PERSON WHO MADE THIS!
Congrats on the (beta) launch, Crispy!
(I'm guessing for a game launch, you don't actually break a bottle of champagne across your monitor, do you?)
I hope you get some moola out of it!

I want to be chosen because I want a sneak peak into YAGSACG revamping, as well as help find bugs to help make the game as good as it can be. I consider myself to be a worthy candidate, and would appreciate you considering me as a beta tester.
OK, you never mentioned how to report a bug/make a comment/other things in that line, so I'm going to do it here.

1st: Background music is a bit much, and continues to play when minimized. This is very annoying.
2nt: When trying to join the only currently hosted game, I get an error saying "Net2: Cannot open a socket". The game is currently in process, but I should be able to view or just get an error saying "Game full, no spectators" or something.
3rd: Again, blackground music is still going crazy. It seems like a small, almost pointless thing to stop music on minimize, but for multi-taskers like me, this is a must.
Danial please contact me via AIM or pager which ever is best. Rhino LB, for aim. Ry4n, for pager. Alright. Need someone to test multilayer with.

Either email or here is fine.

Oops. Forgot about that.

If the music annoys you, you can turn it off. I've had roughly equal amounts of people say they like it and hate it so far.

You are supposed to be able to spectate, yeah. You don't have any firewalls that could be blocking the connection, do you? (Routers are not a problem unless you're hosting.) Games don't get full unless the operating system's connection limit is reached, so that's probably not a problem.

It's also possible that the game had gone down by that point and the main server's list hadn't been updated. Though if a game exits gracefully, it should notify the main server.

Multiplayer support is probably the least-tested part of it, so please do test that as much as you can!

Heh. I've heard that joke before. =)

LOL. No, but (as they say on the intarweb) you owe me a new keyboard. ;-)

Thanks for all the words of support, guys!
I've sent you an email telling you what I think, but to bring the fight here: The music is fantastic. Don't change it. =p

Guys, can we arrange a multiplayer game sometime? I saw that two guys were playing when I checked, but I couldn't join (same reason as Danial.Beta). I gave the game full permissions on my firewall, but oh well). I'd like to see if I could play sometime with someone.
Also, you can send the game to either killastorm1@hotmail.com or caluscorps1@gmail.com
I've sent the beta out to a few more people. That's probably enough for now, but anyone who has missed out can still apply; I'll send you the next beta, later on.
I really don't want to be a Beta tester, but I do have a question. How much is the game going to cost, like will it be one payment for the game, or will it be a monthly payment deal?
