You know those people who go in games and get worked up in arguments about stupid stuff? I mean, it's just retarded how they do that. It's a game for christ's sake. If someone insults you, big freakin' woop, it's just a game, go on with your life and play it.

Of course people get worked up over games.
It's a fucking game. And being insulted on a game is just the same as being insulted anywhere else. Except, you can just turn off your game, if you really want to. I would much rather just sit there talking to the person till they get fed up and leave. Seeing how a good proportion of BYOND is 12 year olds, you just use a lot of big words that they don't understand.

Exactly, I hate this new generation of players (this is one of my newer keys). If they want games, they should stop saying, "OMG, U R OLD, GET JOB OLOLOL" and let us make games for them...Jesus christ, people are dumb.

I have a job, I still program. I enjoy programming. Even if I don't make anything for BYOND (or nothing the general public sees, anyways.)

Same here. I enjoy programming, but I'm able to maintain a normal life style. This new generation of BYONDers just doesn't understand that concept of being able to multi-task.

Youngins these days got no respects for there elders... actually I would probably be considered a youngin here, but still, we make our games, for fun or for fame, and for free. The least people can do is have some respect.
I have a noob repellent though. Give your game some obscure name and an unclear description. There is also the noob developer, you know, the one you try to help because their game is crap and you need to act like they are your master so you can get gm and finally enjoy the game a little(by messing with people), but when you try to help them they ban you with the messsage: "OMG NOOB ITS BETER TAHN ANYTHING U CULD DO" | |
