Here, ~10 megs and 35 minutes long
This is not an interview that is particuarly hilarious, although I do crack a few jokes. This is me debating Christianity with Jamesburrow without giving him the opportunity to spend hours on his answers, like he may on his blog. Any Christian or non Christian could probably benefit from listening to this. There is absolutely no bad language or inappropriate content.

I have to say, that guy didn't sound very smart. Didn't he claim once that his IQ was 190? haha |
I still don't think he's actually mentioned which european country that guy came from.
|
Probably from the south, I wonder if he has any hot cousins he hasn't slept with yet?

I think that a few times in the interview, he lied. I think. _________________________ Seconded. "God is a barnyard animal." -Jamesburrow LMAO, that was just hilarious. |
Yes, I am from the south, specifically TN. Also a virgin - by choice.
And yes, my IQ is at close to 185. Here recently, i made at 1850 on the PSAT, a 29 on the ACT, and perfect on the ASVAB except in mechanics. Mark, in one sense he is He is the Lamb of God (as said in John 1:29, 1:36, I Peter 1:19, Revelation 7:10, 7:17, 19:9, 21:22-23, 22:1, and 22:3 as well as in several others im sure ive missed) - or the ultimate sacrifice to redeem us from sins. And remember, Ben raised that point, I just conceded that dependin on how you look at it it could be interpreted that way. Also, ill admit the red car illustration was a peice of crap. it was something a visiting pastor used a while ago and was the first thing i thought of. Acebloke: why do you think im from Europe? I was born and raised in the South - probly the greatest place in the world. Believe me, im a proud Southern Redneck. Anyway, Ben, can we postpone tomorrows by about an hour? I dont get out of church till 8, wont be at home till around 8:30 (9 and 9:30 eastern) Ill either respond or conceed then. |
Personally I thought his answers to Ben's questions were really good considering how he's being put on the spot like that. He didn't have to pause to think for most of it at the start and his earlier explanation/answers were relatively reasonable.
It got funny towards the end though :D. |
I don't care where its mentioned. You reduced "your" god to a lowly animal that according to the bible was sacrificial.
That to me is very hilarious within itself. |
There is no SAT equivalent score on the PSATs, but rather it is a series of numbers from 0 to 80 representing your score, and any method by which contrived an 1850 is certainly not endorsed by the test itself.
Sure, I'll call you at 9:30 EST. No problem. |
Fine, I got a 185 out of 240. At the bottom of the report, it says to add a 0 to estimate likely SAT scores and thats that score is the one we use at school (all sophomores are required to take it).
And no Mark, I am not the one who "reduced" him to that, rather He did Himself. His only purpose for being born was as a sacrifice and to die for the human race. Also, what happened to the call Ben? Oh well, ive come up with answers that cover it in my eyes, so who cares what you think. Anyway, Heli was Mary's father, which, upon Marraige also became Josephs (as I said, one is Mary's genealogy, on is Joseph's) Just like the Isrealites refer to Abraham and other male ancestors as 'Father' Also, even though Elisha (or Elijah or w/e - like I said, I get them confused), was taken up into Heaven in a whirlwind, he didnt quite 'ascend' The definition of ascend doesnt really create the same image as 'taken up in a whirlwind' And finally, a rooster will crow more than once before the sun actually rises. The way it was recorded in one is talking about the first time it rises altogether at dawn, the other is talking about the total times. And think you Abhishake I didnt really go into that conversation expecting serious questions. Had I been I would have been a little more prepared. Anyway, I cant remember the others and I do not have enough time to listen to that and find out what they were. |
as said in John 1:29, 1:36, I Peter 1:19, Revelation 7:10, 7:17, 19:9, 21:22-23, 22:1, and 22:3 jeffrey lundgren, a recently executed cult leader and murderer once said that it was so easy to gain power in the church because you just need to memorize a few verses from the bible and people will be impressed. i wouldn't suggest that you become a murderer, but being a cult leader is definitely a career option worth considering. |
lol. Maybe I should consider that as a possible career choice.
I dont know about the memorization=power thing though. Maybe in some larger churches where nobody knows anyone anyway, but in mine it takes people a while to give their trust. Ive been there a year and a half and im still not considered completely trustworthy. I'm leadership and all, but i get all the menial, background tasks (such as running the projector from a small room upstairs or helping in the snack room during retreats) |
