This topic was discussed weeks ago by Wii but they just started taking action since the reports increased. They recalled over 3 million straps in USA. Be careful if you brought a strap that hasn't been recalled because it can suddenly break and bust your Television screen(thousands of reports of this was made).

Caution to you all who know your getting one for Christmas and has been wrapped ever since.
