I was watching G4 yesterday and I saw their cartoon 'Happy Tree Friends and Friends'. This show is just stupid and profane by any means; it's violence for the sake of violence to put it simply. No one talks, just mumbles, so it's 30 minutes of guts being splashed around the screen as this TV-14 show airs in the middle of the day. I've never been squeamish by any means but this was hard to watch even for me.

There's nothing wrong with HTF, it's G4's fault. They shoot a ray of gayness and boredom through your TV when you watch it.

TechTV was good, and G4TechTV was good for a time, but it all went down an 80 degree slope as soon as G4 took total control, and wiped the TechTV name from the face of the planet.

I've never seen G4, but HTF has been an online cartoon for a long time.
HTF is slightly amusing just because it's so incredibly stupid, but I could never understand why things like that and a site I saw a long time ago called joecartoon.com ever became so popular. I love stupid and offensive humor, but those cartoons aren't clever enough to be stupid/offensive AND funny at the same time. | |
G4TV's shallowness rating is beginning to match Spike TV. Passed up MTV a while ago. Is it me, or has X-Play even become more shallow?

I liked G4 when AOTS was all about promoting small sites, sharing newgrounds junk and having fun... Now it's all about flair and playing the game of "Who's the bigger tool?"
X-Play has gone downhill, but it's still watchable though... If you can tolerate alot of Viral Marketing for Gamefly. The only thing worth watching on G4 is The Man Show and Star Trek, and even that gets repeatitive after a while. | |
