How's this for some ignorance, due to several robberies, a KFC reportedly hung this sign, informing all customers that African Americans would be charged an extra $1.50.

This source is unconfirmed, as I could onlt find responces to the picture, so I believe that this is a hoax. =/ I think that there would have been a HUGE stink about this had it been real, and would have been easy to find an article or two about it.

Though, the kind of ignorance this portrays facinates me. Leave it to minimum wage employees to write something that poorly. Not only are they using apostrophes for pluralization rather than actually pluralizing a word properly ("robbery's"?), and on top of that, the use of the term "African American" in this context?

Hell, all you have to say at that point is: "I'm Haitian, dick.", and you don't have to pay the $1.50.

I mean, if you are going to be racist, go all out. Otherwise, you had probably better check yourself. Frankly, that looks like general stupidity to me, more than racism. I mean, the logic of that:

"Hey, I have an idea, let's enforce TWO racial stereotypes, discriminate against an entire group of ethnicities, and at the same time, be politically correct about it!"


I mean, a that point, you'd pretty much have to put up a sign that basically said: "White only", in the window, and your point has pretty much been made, and the same effect given...

Meh, but I guess in these peoples' minds, only rednecks and black people eat fried chicken anyway, and OBVIOUSLY only black people rob places, so, if I dumb myself down enough, and stab myself in the logic portion of the brain enough times, I could kind of see where they are coming from, at least until I pass out from bloodloss, and severe brain damage.


Hell, I'm more pissed about the idea that they used the term "African-American", then what the sign conveys... I mean, being racist AND politically correct at the same time? *mind explodes*
