So... This game's gotten kinda old, hasn't it? Now, as I am messing around by my lonesome out of nostalgia, from the time I couldn't really appreciate the game for what it is, I have been wondering... Is there anyone else out there to play, or even be interested in playing this game?
If so, sound off, please! Hard to get a group together if they all show up at different times and never meet each other!

Well... It is unfortunate, but I can't say I didn't expect it. That said, if anyone was so inclined to play a game that isn't being developed, there's nothing really stopping them so long as an online server exists, is there?
Anyhow, out of those two, I feel I'd prefer Psiforged, personally. Never was great at managing forts full of people. |
Actually, forgive me for posting again after so long, but... Sometimes, I see servers up being hosted, but without a single soul connected. Walking around for a while, I notice some signs of activity, like a building or something, telling me that a player certainly WAS there at some point... But after two or three days, whether we're simply there at different times or anything else, I don't notice anyone joining. It can be very easy to lose interest in something when you're the literal only person there, especially an online roleplaying game like this one.
So I had an idea. Sure, this thing's officially not being developed anymore, but some people seem to want to come back to it now and again. How about creating a Discord server for people that are interested in Lands Of Legend? Would the original creators object to it at all if I were to create one? |
I am currently working on Allied Nations http://www.byond.com/games/Godsring/AlliedNations
If you liked Lands Of Legend its likely you will like either of our current projects. It is not likely official development will ever return for Lands Of Legend, in kind I have stopped official development of Dungeon Master in favor of Allied Nations.
