At the beginning of the summer I started interning for an awesome film and video production company in town.

It started out as a paid internship, and turned into a full time summer job. I do a lot of video editing, DVD creation, and grip/PA work for them. They are wonderful to work for... everyone is so talented, and really friendly.

Today I finished a big corporate video project which has required some pretty grueling work for the past couple weeks. Long story short: after it was shipped off, my boss called me into his office and told me that they really appreciated my hard work and that they wanted me to know that I was very valuable to the company. I received a pay bonus for the project, as well as a raise!!!

Anyway, it just made my day. I was pretty excited about it, because I felt priveleged to be working for this company in the first place, much less to receive a bonus and a raise!
