I dont know if it was just me being a kid, or what, but the world seemed so much... better, kinder. I donno, christmas is comming up, i really wish my family got together, and opend presents and everything. Those are always the best memories. Its kind of just like, heres your money. I wish we lived in a world were everyone was nice, and cared about each other, but, no.

People have been saying "things used to be better back then" since ancient Greek times, and no doubt before. Somehow it has felt like things were "getting worse" for over 2,000 years, yet we live much longer and vastly healthier, in much better comfort, with much less chance of ourselves or those around us dropping dead, with much more interesting stuff to do, than anyone in all of history before us.
