I noticed something about a wiki parser in your notes, what's the deal with that? (And airline peanuts.)

The Wiki parser is a library/snippet I'm writing that'll parse MediaWiki-style wiki text into HTML pages. It is, of course, just the parser: it just tells you what the links are and what the formatting will turn out to be (all formatting is customisable, of course). It's up to you to handle those links with your own client/Topic() or whatever.

I started writing it for The Haven Seed a while ago because I was getting irritated with writing full-syntaxed HTML for all of Haven's help files. After a while I wrote up a simple little "replace \n with <br />" system to ease off some of the work of writing helpfiles. Then I had to code in support to ignore newlines within <table> tags. Then I got fed up with the full-syntaxed HTML links I was using and wanted to replace them with some easier mnemonic... and the parser came to mind.

I guess you could call it a sister project to Newtopia. It's designed to augment Newtopia, and the development of Newtopia gives it a reason to exist.

@Thorg: That was one of my little jokes. Yesterday was an extremely busy day for me IRL so I didn't have much time to work on Newtopia. The time I did have was spent listening to music instead. =)
