A 'master' of planesmasters would be useful when you want to apply a filter to multiple planes at once, and should be pretty trivial to add.

I don't follow how this would be trivial. I'm also not sure why it's needed.

Having the actual drawing code nest planes ought to be straightforward enough, naturally, but such nesting would require a syntax to support it. How do you propose working it into the language?
