anyone know how to get a .com website?
like, www.url.com, and not one of those www.url.host.com type for FREE?
I use to have a link to do it for free, but forgot it.

Jedi, there is no link to get a free .com url. Try godaddy or yahoo or something. Also, I'm pretty sure you can host a website from your PC for free with some program. Try googling it.

I've seen free hosting for domains before, but they almost always have, at the very least, text ads.
I've never seen a place that provides free top-level (site.com, site.net, site.co.uk, site.it, etc.) domain registration, though. Sorry. I could give you some links to cheap domain registration, as well as cheap (and free/ad-supported) hosting, though, if you like. | |
