i downloaded one of my sources back to continue a project but some of my files cant be found

If you are actually missing files, we can't help you, friend. That's on you. Unless you have a buddy who also has your complete source, you're out of luck regarding those missing files.

I am with my current project. Haven't needed it so far, but I'm sure it'll come in handy at some point when I mess things up.

Are you trying to access files on different folders without including the folder on the file path? If so, you need to toggle FILE_DIR in the settings menu to actually allow it to search inside folders.
