Red Cap jumped from like 136 to 62 in the rankings. :P It's amazing what actually making a game playable does for the ranking.

I think also you're seeing the ratings return more to "normal" now that memberships are paid, and initial previews are ending. The toped ranked games list right now looks a lot closer to what I originally expected, including with several fan games in the top 20.

Bear in mind that I wasn't watching the rankings during the trial period. :P And to the person whose comment I just deleted: cheer fan games on your own blog.

Why is it that everyone around here expects the creator to host the game? Red Cap (like many, MANY others) is available for public hosting... Anyone can host it (at least I think so... it may be limited to subscribers, but either way, it doesn't require Hedgemistress/Lesbian Assassin to host it)... So if it's not up, host it yourself, or find someone who will! (Sorry to pop like that, but this is one of my pet peeves) | |
