Ouch. 80 characters is a bit harsh. Do you have an extremely small resolution or something? 80 characters for me is a little over a quarter of the screen.

I use 1024x768, and the snippets cover approximately 75% of the screen, at least using the Fixedsys 9pt font that I use, with the File/Object sidebar adjusted so you can fully see the button as well as the "Show all nodes" checkbox text.
Given that 1024x768 is the standard these days... =) | |

What say I have a snippit, which is the same as another, only a different way of going about it. Should I either, reply to the thread with the snippit that's like it, make a new thread, or just not bother to add it (one way is enough)?

Generally, one snippet per topic; any discussion for the snippet is then posted as replies to that snippet.
So if you have an alternate method, just make a new post for it (you'll note there are a couple alternate methods already posted). | |

Silent was just attempting to use his own brand of Ben G/Elation-style satire. I'd prefer the genuine article any day of the week, and that's saying something because I despise the genuine article. =P
