Descriptive Problem Summary:
I can use overlays for HUDs but I cannot use Vis_Contents

Should show Black and Red Box when displaying with vis_contents OR overlays
Actual Results:
Displays for overlays and not vis_contents
Workarounds:
Overlays and I assume images work

I was taking a look at this in the discord, and it seemed an awful lot like that image bug you fixed the other day, where the messages for a newly displayed object didn't show up, but an update to that object would cause it to appear.

This has been an issue with vis_contents since day one of the 512 release. Sorry for not mentioning it, but I spent a long time playing around with it trying to make sure I wasn't just using it wrong. >.>

HUD objects should support vis_contents just fine (they were one of the reasons this var was requested), but there could be a layering issue in play.
