I use a program called 'Simple Port Forwarding' and I have checked that everything is in the right place and when I use the port tester, it says success but the other side says that it can't be reached and when I try to host it says it can't be reached.

Port 1 is not something you should be using. Try a lot higher, like 10000. The upper port limit is 65535 so anything in the 5000+ range is probably fine.

try using your router's settings page instead of a program which runs on OS level.

ive been trying to host forever seems no matter what i do i cant seem to make it to where others can join

For my specific computer, I guess my gateway is considered my ip because when I forwarded the ports there, it worked.
