Byond raises more than $ 1000, why not separate 5% to make a contest every month? In order to make intelligent systems one game interact with another, improve a player's first experience, visual challenges related to improving the graphics of his own game. Do not make challenges that do not improve gameplay or that do not attract more players, that should be the focus.

Having a cash contest really wouldn't work unless BYOND was making a lot more. Membership and donation income is really well short of where I'd need it to be to justify that sort of thing.
