Well, you use Byond to play those RPGs online. At least, that's what we're going to attempt. So, I've paid my dues and have renewed my Byond membership. Now I'm learning all the basics of Byond over again (for like the millionth time) and plugging away to create something I'm actually going to use. I've already got a hub entry for it and everything. Will the public be able to make use of it? I doubt it, because the kind of D&D we are going to play will not involve dice. Instead, I will be running a bit of software called DM Genie (Google it) to handle all the dice rolls and rules for us while we role play together in the chat room. So, this chat room will be of limited use to anyone not wishing to do the same thing I'm doing.

However, if someone does wish to test out my program, just give a little holler and I'll send it your way, whatever stage it's currently in. I even dug up my old QuickFormat() code from the forums to use with this one.
Just in case you don't already know, you might be able to save yourself some time and use Shadowdarke's BYOND Tabletop Gaming.
Thanks for pointing that out. I've checked into it, and it's got tools I don't need, plus it doesn't include the tools I'd like.

There is also another D&D tabletop utliity, but it also doesn't fit my needs.

Unfortunately, neither of these programs have source available, so I'd be stuck with something I can't edit.
Fair enough. I'm not a D&D player so I wasn't sure if it'd be right, just thought I'd bring it up.
I'd tell you to ask Shadowdarke if he could implement the features you want, but he's pretty busy nowadays so it'd be quicker to just make your own custom D&D utility.
Well, things went VERY well. There is an excerpt at http://files.byondhome.com/BigJMoney/excerpt1.htm

If anyone cares to get a little glimmer at what the dynamics are like. It was a very fun session, even though it took us a while to get things started.
