I am going to start offering my services as a musician to the BYOND community. I will compose custom music for your games for a price. Here is a sample of a piece I've arranged.

March of the Trolls

If you'd like to hear more of my work, check out http://ebonshadow.net/ or Stick Fighter.

All music will be in MIDI or OGG and each song will be tailored to your desire. Each draft of the song will be sent to you as an mp3 with a bit rate of 16 or 8. That way you will be able to decide if you like the way the song is going without having to commit to buying it. After the song is completed, if you decide to buy it you will be sent a copy of the song in either midi or ogg with a bit rate of your choice (probably 128).

I am unsure of the pricing at this moment. The sample song above took me about 4 to 5 hours. For a piece like that I would hope to be paid at least 50 dollars.

All custom songs you buy will be yours exclusively. Nobody else will be able to buy that song.
Wow, love the March, good stuff.
Very sweet, I'm in need of some music, but alas, I doubt I could fork out $50 a piece :(. Good stuff anyway.
Cool, but I doubt I'll have the money. Maybe I'll get some, but I doubt it.
Very, very good song you have there :) I'd hire you, but like Acebloke, I can't afford that much as of now. But if I could, it'd definately be worth it :)
I'm very interested in having you compose several midis for a game that I'm going to release next month:

I've already composed some music for it myself, but I'm not going to have time to get to all of it before the game is released.

If you're interested, then let me know and I'll drop you an email with more details.
I'm interested =).
I may be interested in some songs with a pastoraly medieval-to-Renaissance sort of feel to it for an unspecified game involving intelligent semi-anthropomorpic animals to be announced later... but at this point I'm not sure what my exact needs in that area will be. :P I would want the music to act as cues in the absence of visual stimuli, so some consideration is invovled.
March of Trolls is a lot of fun. I like how it starts out sounding like some old console soundtrack, then goes in some unexpected directions.

I look forward to hearing more!
That is an uber song, seriously, what did you make that with?!
In case you don't check your e-mail often, I sent in a requested commission. :P
Hedgemistess: Sorry! I've worked 12 hour shifts the last 2 days so I haven't had time to check my email. I replied, sorry it took so long.

Jermman: I do all my music in Cakewalk Home Studio. It's pretty much like writing a midi and replacing the crapy soundcard instruments with better samples. Then I record guitar parts to go with it.
