It tends to freeze the map side of the screen while leaving the tabs responsive and the chat unaffected. Any help would be appreciated.

That DLL doesn't belong to BYOND; it belongs to Raptr.
One thing you can try is disabling the Raptr in-game overlay. If that doesn't fix it, remove Raptr entirely. | |
