"Game Development teams that refer to themselves as companies, and or make reference themselves in the plural:"

We at Spector Entertainment would like to apologize for reffering to ourselves in the plural.
Us folk at BwgCorp. would like to state that we do not speak of ourselves in such a manner.

Not only that, but BwgCorp is non-existant...
Whether you delete my posts or not, I'm still right.

Quit acting better than everyone.

Stop.

Well, from what I see, he IS better than you.

Yup. You're right. You win the internet. I admit defeat.

Now please go away.

We here at Silk Games are proud to announce that we accept your apology!
"1.) Game Development teams that refer to themselves as companies, and or make reference themselves in the plural:

"On behalf of Blah Blah Blah Inc., we'd like to say..."

"We here at Blah Blah Blah Inc. are proud to announce the formation of our action game division..."

...because it's typically just one guy doing all of the work. And if it isn't just one guy, then the majority of the posts are being made by one guy who hasn't consulted the other team members about said post. Stop trying to look like big shots and/or real companies, because it's a bit sad. And funny.

Get a business license and start paying taxes, and then you can refer to yourself as a company."

I hope you're not referring to Iccusion Entertainment. Iccusion Entertainment is a registered company, with a federal tax ID, and has been running for over 6 years.

Iccusion Entertainment started as a local software company in Wichita, KS. We joined up with a small development group around 2001 to work on a project called Fantasy Realm Online (http://www.fantasyrealmonline.com), just recently we established a found partnership for the project. A couple years after that, in 2003, I came across BYOND. At first I was making games on my own here until some of the other members got interested and I found out that BYOND was the perfect place to recruit developers and promote our business. I fell in love with BYOND from there. We currently have around 10 members and have had more in the past. We've probably gone through 50 total over the three years we've been here.

I have a lot of respect for you and you are a very talented developer, Ben, but if you were referring to Iccusion Entertainment, it was not appreciated at all.
I, the ofiicial(but not really) spokeman for Dixon(Yes the pencil company), would like to say that our pencils are better then Pilot's pencils. Plus those guys are slackers. Buy Dixon brand pencils!

Editors note: 1 out of every 2 dollars goes toward hiring hitman to assassinate the top Pilot employees. Godspeed.

Not appreciated... but still true. Iccusion wasn't the only group that I was talking about, but you are certainly included.

I don't know you very well Aaiko, but you seem like a nice guy. You should be able to poke fun at yourself once in awhile.
Not appreciated... but still true.

Agreed.

But some of us use team names so that it shares the credit. Instead of me saying, I lord of light made this game, and these are everyone that helped. It's easier for me to say, this is a production brought to you by Ilithyia Entertainment. That's why I produce games under Ilithyia, so as to share the credit.

Yeah, I definitely understand this. Heck- that's what I'm doing with Silk Games! There are plenty of other people involved in the process of making that game, even though I'm the driving force.
