Three random things about BYOND Members that annoy me lately
1.) Game Development teams that refer to themselves as companies, and or make reference themselves in the plural:"On behalf of Blah Blah Blah Inc., we'd like to say..."
"We here at Blah Blah Blah Inc. are proud to announce the formation of our action game division..."
...because it's typically just one guy doing all of the work. And if it isn't just one guy, then the majority of the posts are being made by one guy who hasn't consulted the other team members about said post. Stop trying to look like big shots and/or real companies, because it's a bit sad. And funny.
Get a business license and start paying taxes, and then you can refer to yourself as a company.
2.) BYOND Trolls. Seriously... can't you find something better to do with your lives? The funny part is that when most trolls aroud here start making blog posts about their real lives, they're typically about not being able to get a girlfriend etc. Hmmm... I wonder why?
Another funny thing about the trolls who hate me in particular is that they end up obsessing over me. They can't have a conversation or make a post without throwing in the fact that they hate my guts. Geez guys... maybe finding a girlfriend wouldn't be so hard if you weren't already in love with some anonymous dude online.
3.) Member Flame Wars, because they're always the same. Trolls swoop in and flame a post, an intelligent BYONDer proves them wrong, trolls get angrier and flame more. Even worse, psuedo-intellectual troll steps in, lectures everyone on his/her superiority and continues to ramble on to look intelligent.
Pretty simple process. Might even happen with this post. But it won't, because I'm deleting flames.
