Sentai was awesome, but then Aaiko formed Iccusion and tried to continue it with FF1 Advanced graphics but stopped.

This post may be somewhat late, but here's more info about Final Fantasy Sentai...
At one point, Aaiko and I decided we wanted to remake some classic games (Ninja Gaiden, Final Fantasy series, Mario series, etc...). He did Ninja Gaiden and passed Sentai's source to me. However, I just decided to use the icons and start the code from scratch. Eventually, I had the Final Fantasy remake up to the Marsh Cave. Aaiko then distracted me with more projects, and eventually I discontinued Final Fantasy because I didn't have time. There -is- some good news though. I am going to continue the Final Fantasy remake, starting Thanksgiving Break (November 17). However, it won't be an Iccusion Project, it will be a project under my key. (JackGuy.FinalFantasy) I will be fixing up the old code, add more areas/monsters, and do some tune-ups. The Final Fantasy remake is essentially the same as the old Final Fantasy game for NES. There are a few changes I made though. I made combat to use the Active-Time Battle system. This change was decided from a unanimous vote by the players. Another change is the menu/window system. It's purely aesthetic. It's still essentially the same. Ok, I've dragged this post on too long. I doubt anyone will even find it anyways. </Jack> |
This sounds good, I never really played Finaly Fantays before, I played the NES one for about 5 minutes but got caught playing it in school so I had to put it away. I hope to play this game very soon and maybe it will get me to start enjoying rpgs. Thank you for the information.
