Main Street

Main Street Update 3 has brought longevity to gameplay! Players now have save files that are not reset on server reboots so you can keep your money. We also added shop themes which can be unlocked when you earn enough money.

Thanks to all of you who have been playing with us so far and sticking with us! It's really nice to see that we've been getting some loyal followers and we love and appreciate your ideas and support.

Content Added:
[-]18 new shelf types
[-]4 new shop themes

Features Added:
[-]Shops now charge tenants rent every 10 minutes
[-]Logging out will no longer delete you or your shop
[-]Missing more than 2 rent payments will cause you to be evicted
[-]There are now 4 shop themes which affect what types of products you can sell
[-]When you buy a shop space, you can select a theme to use from the themes that you own
[-]Your money will now not be reset on server reboots or log outs

Bugs Fixed:
[-]Being evicted can no longer leave you with negative cash
[-]You can no longer hire employees more than once
[-]You can no longer sell a shop several times in a row without purchasing it again
[-]Various other fixes along the way

Upcoming Features:
[-]Offline players will be charged taxes (and rent if they own a store)
[-]A leader board showing the most popular/valuable shops will be added
[-]A new decorative object: fountains
[-]Newspaper boxes will be added. Buy an ad in the daily paper to temporarily boost your popularity!
[-]Want to undercut your competition? We'll be adding the ability to change item prices to speed up sales or to raise your profit margin.
