Well basically, our year in school have been so good, we get to do work experience a year early, so what we've been discussing is where we are going to work. Some people want to work in stores that sell sneakers/trainers and tracksuits so that at the end they can take some if they work well. Another one suggested working in a porn shop to...well...you can figure that one out. I suggested working in the inner cities, so maybe, just maybe, they will pay us..seeing as our school said they aren't allowed to, but it does happen. Where do YOU think i should work?

I did my work experience pulling flags out the ground and putting them back in, (flags being pavement), taking down plywood, u know, basic labour. Try that its a hoot, you get to sit off and whistle at pretty girls in the pissing down rain, while all the well payed people sit inside behind a desk. Believe me, its fun...

School is a waste of time.
I fell asleep during my work experience. And when I wasn't sleeping I was watching 3D films. Definately, choose a science exploratory place to do work experience in. They're over-staffed, over-paid (although we got nothing), and under-worked. | |

You shouldn't really bother to do pointless non-job related work experience. I know someone who plans on becoming a lawyer so she went to a law firm. A university, where you plan to do law, won't care if you worked as a shoe shine boy.
