Whenever I try to open sigrogana legends 2 or Xenosphere my dream seeker simply crashes with the screen graying out and not responding if an add plays and just simply closing itself if no add plays. Ive tried running it in an older version of byond I've tried reinstalling byond and it hasnt made a difference the only way I am able to connect is through the web client which doesnt work very well. :
1. Open byond 2. Click play on one of the mentioned games. 3. It crashes:
A gray screen or the game to close itself :
The problem happens 100% of the time for me ive tried several hundred times on any account on my pc but not on any other pc even using the same accounts.
I've never tried playing this game on this laptop before so I'm not sure if its something related to my computer just seems strange that it only happens on these two games and i made a post about it on the SL2 forums and was told to bring it here

No problem; so was I.
The info you've got is from an application hang, not a crash. The most likely cause of a hang is your antivirus software, or other security software, interfering. Avast has had particular trouble with BYOND. Make sure all of the files in BYOND's bin folder are in the exceptions list for your antivirus software. |
