The first re-captioned Family Circus cartoon I ever saw was by Robert Carr and it still makes me laugh to think of it. Then the (now-defunct) Dysfunctional Family Circus website came along and allowed the whole world to write captions. And now... the Nietzsche Family Circus! I love the idea of recaptioning tha Family Circus, if for no other reason than it's the only way to make it funny.

I agree entirely with you, Lummox. I'm glad we don't have it in syndication in any of our local papers (that I'm aware of, anyway), since it'd be a total waste of space. =) I want to see some of the non-Nietzsche-captioned ones! |
