Pretty sure it's a trilogy.

first i stole AERs ideas, which was cool in my eyes but actually kind of sucked. then i got cocky and made another game based off AERs concepts, which was a mess. fixed |

I do not seclude myself from the world, I am indeed starting a family and have a baby girl on the way. You are extremely ignorant and arrogant. Please step back and re-read your posts. You sound absolutely ridiculous. |

Telling a bigot to step back and re-read his post is like telling Donald Trump to stop getting dicked down by Sarah Palin (no lube).

The thing about VR is that you can't move very far and you can only use guns which probably hasn't been integrated yet into Pondera's lore.
When you die in VR it has to be a fade out into a "you have died" black screen since it can't physically move you, which is also the problem with melee weapons, the enemies can't stagger you. In Pondera it is pretty key to have the aforementioned things for the world to achieve its greater, more overall meaning. |
Bought a copy yesterday, it's gorgeous! I'm getting my ass handed to me but that's okay.
Congratulations to the whole team and great work :) |

better late than never to tell you congrads on your achievements, yut put. your growing experience is evident in your introductions to the game and it's mechanics. it's very well crafted and thought out, rivaling most I known. I wish I was around to see you build it up. I'm greatly passionate in watching and supporting creators, so I'm a bit envious that others are able to.
sadly I won't be able to experience the game anytime soon or contribute much to other creations like I used to. to be honest, I stepped out of the byond scene these days because byond games relies more on twitch and real-time gameplay more and more. I literally can not pay multiplayer because of satellite, and old players and creators have filtered out from turn-base, tower defense, and casual games. poor acwraith's collection is collecting dust and I had fun beating board game creators in their own game. even re-adapted older games to feature smoother movement which trades off with relying on connections with low pings. welp *clap*. don't mind me, surely yall got better things to do then listen to someone that make it their business to avoid these forums. mostly to maintain a positive and healthy outlook on the future of byond, much counter productive in not being in the know hows. keep creating! bye. |
i dont think you have to play epoch online with other people, it was just an option there in case you wanted to

Best of luck to Yut Put, way to go!
To the naysayers; don't be so toxic. Success on BYOND is so far and few between that most projects aren't worth it to the developers monetarily, why don't we all appreciate when things go well. Maybe there can be a trend of BYOND games greenlit and making some modest income and drawing in more developers. That is a good thing for everybody. |
