I don't know if it's a bug of a bad feature, but in the new versions of Dream Maker, if you search a string and the search is failed, then the string isn't saved, and the previous search value becomes the default.
So if you type in a large string and you mess up with a single character, you have to retype it from the start.
It's extremely annoying and came along with other truly sadistic updates: for example, if you try to quickly navigate between frames of an animation or a multi-directional sprite with the move arrows as you used to, DM will instead shift the current frame.
New features are always great if they don't break the usual workflow.

The newer builds shouldn't reset the string you used, if you have no text selected.
