That moment when you're almost 23

I went to the mall today. Most boring experience ever.

Anyway, I went to this oriental store. I was hesitant to go in at first but then I saw some samurai swords and I was like



So I walked in and I beeline straight for them and this older Chinese lady walks directly in front of the swords I was looking at. "You have to be at least 18 to buy sword."

"Ok, thanks. I was just looking."

"How old are you?"

"I'm 22."

"Ehhh... you don't look 22. You look like under 18. You buy wooden sword." She pointed at a barrel of bokken next to me.

"Ok, I appreciate the help."

Then she just walks away.

I'm not sure whether to be flattered or pissed off that she thought I was under 18. My Mom also says that I could walk into a high school classroom and no one would think anything of it. One of my employees at the store I work at told me I don't look old enough to be his boss. I think at this point I'm just going to take a Sharpie and draw myself a full beard so I can look my age.

I'm twenty-five, and there were people on my college campus that thought I was closer to twenty. I think I'm flattered, since it means I'm not baby-faced enough to blend in at a high school. I mean, it could be annoying if I needed to buy alcohol, but I am a boring-as-fuck stick-in-the-mud and don't drink or smoke, so it's a non-issue.

I'm 20 and look like a high school kid when I'm clean shaven. Like, a 17 year old. Lol

I forgot how to shave, so I always look 40.

When I shave I still leave my mustache, soul patch and a little on the chin just to avoid looking like a 5 year old and it still doesn't work.

I almost got kicked out of a bar 'recently' because the owner was drunk and said I looked like I was 16.

21 and same issue look like a 16-17 yr old lol.

I find that growing a large beard makes you seem a lot older.

IDK, in both of these pictures I wouldn't put him anywhere past 35 ( and guessed 30 ). Looked it up and he's 32.

I can assure you that it helps. I shaved a few years ago for a wedding. I look at least 6 years younger without my beard.
