Hey,
I can easily connect to any game, except for one. One that anyone can connect to other than me. Normally, you'd assume it was some sort of ban or connection error (which it likely is), but it gives me a strange error that nobody else has.

I've tried my hardest to troubleshoot, and even had a few friends help me out. I've looked through the forums and all that, but to no avail.
I know the server is up and running fine, but there was recently a DDoS attack on the shell server. And this problem only recently surfaced after the attacks. I'm also certain my byond is having no problems, given the fact that I'm able to connect to any other game except for the one.
Any ideas?

All that message says is that DS is having trouble loading the ad page. It should have no relation whatsoever to the server you're joining, unless you have an aggressive antivirus/security program blocking it.

It gives the error after receiving a connection failed message that lasts about a quarter of a second. I can guarantee you this problem has nothing to do with ads, as I receive ads when I can actually connect to game.
I'm almost certain it has something to do with the server rejecting my connection, but I'm not sure if there's a way to solve this problem on my own. I know for a fact I'm not banned or anything of the sort like that. | |
If you have a "Connection failed" message then you're simply failing to connect to that server.

Wtf the same thing is happening to me but except I can't join any games...AND IM TRYING TO PLAY ASAP...this is just pissing me tf off, how tf do i fix this.
