It's something that sounds cool, something I wish I would've seen before reading it in this post, so it's definitely spoilerses. Might not be main-story spoilers, but it's something that has now been spoiled for me. Gonna follow this thread though, since it's obvious there's no boundaries on spoilers here. Or at least no real understanding of what spoiler means. "Your son dies though" "yeah man, you know that cool moment that I'm going to describe in detail so it's not special for you when you see it?".

It's no secret that aliens have been a part of Fallout lore since the beginning. Anybody even slightly familiar with Fallout should expect there to be an alien encounter of some kind in Fallout 4, whether minimal or significant.

Just a funny encounter I had:
I was doing the Nick Valentine rescue quest and we got to the end when he mentioned this guy Skinny Malone would be waiting for us beyond the door. After he said Skinny Malone was an ironic name and that he was not to be underestimated, I thought he might be something big and scary like a super mutant. Realizing that I had my fatman and a mininuke, I got that out just for the lulz. Well, I didn't realize that Skinny Malone and his whole gang would be standing in a convenient little circle. So I waited through a bit of dialogue, the girl said something like "We should have killed him already", and I fired my nuke and they all died. Nick Valentine made a comment about how Skinny Malone was now full of bullets. lol Apparently you can get away with not killing him and he shows up later at some point? Might try that if I do another playthrough. | |
I did that quest yesterday. It was a tense encounter!
Who's your favorite companion so far? I've been sticking with Piper. Maxed out her affinity level just now so i get a charisma boost. (; | |
I got curious about whether or not you can shoot down the Brotherhood helicopters that fly around so i followed one and after a couple missed missiles, i blew it up. It crashed into a Super Mutant base and caused a pretty massive explosion.
Speaking of which, can we take a second to appreciate the beautiful explosion animations? I like watching dead bodies get ragdolled by car explosions, haha. EDIT: Found my first non-quest related vault! Vault 95. (: | |

My favorite companion is dogmeat. Lone wanderer still works with him, and even with that I'm usually wishing I had a higher weight limit.

Everyone i know always goes cheap when it comes to ram QQ. Creampie's laptop only has 2 gigs of ram -.-.
