Installing BYOND always results in a smartscreen filter warning which advises me not to run the setup file. The only way to bypass this is by clicking "More Info" followed by "Run", which may not be intuitive for everyone.

I don't know how the smartscreen filter works nor the process for getting your application whitelisted, but I thought I'd point it out in case it was something trivial.

(What I mean is, please don't take this as high priority. The webclient should end up phasing out the software anyway.)
