Randomquest

Basically, this is a simple single player game with text based graphics. You control a prisoner from one of several races, and you either agree to help the prison's owner or flee from the prison (Depends on your race!).



The game uses very simple AI for all the mobs, so don't expect the slimes to shoot fireballs at you or something.



Every single mob has one or more unique pieces of equipment that it may drop upon death, and these can then be equipped to up your strength. The main objective is to find and defeat the three bosses in the game, which are essentially just powered-up enemies.



However, the gameplay is sorta similar to a very basic 2D Shadow of the Colossus, except without the sword. It's very challenging to find the bosses, and they're strong, too.
