For BYOND, maybe. But BYOND's standards are absurdly low; it's like they're trying to compete with steam greenlight.
|
@Lugia: You mean between January of this year and now, you've managed to put together a game that doesn't spam you with errors every time you try to do something?
^I'm sorry, but I really don't think the person that made THIS with BYOND in 2015 is actually capable of doing much more than making a box move in Unity. |

Until you see the emote to which I am referring, you will not understand what it means. I know people have opinions, it's just that some opinions are plain wrong. See: Donald Trump

I told you ages ago that your ROTMG ripoff is not only not awesome, but not even original.

Because you could do anything even close to that... lol all talk no game.

Ah yes, I waste my time creating BYOND ports of well-known games. That's awesome, right? And then I make a kickstarter that fails

I was leaning more towards.. you've done absolutely nothing with your supposed programming ability we hear so much about.

I've probably done more than anyone on this site that doesn't program professionally tbh. Not in game-making, obviously. But even if it were, I certainly wouldn't use BYOND to make a game over Unity or UE.

ROTMG ripoff. What I find funny about you, Lugia, is that while any intelligent person could point out Severed World's flaws quite easily (but hey, I'm still proud of it), you compare it to a game that it has no resemblance to, aesthetically or gameplay wise. It's a great example of how ignorant you are, though there's plenty of those in this thread alone. |
Nigga, I'll have you know that I made a perpetual motion machine with BYOND. That's some laws of thermodynamics you gotta re-jiggerbate because of me.
And some indiana jones shit. Do you even rat farm, bro? Srsly, bro. Your DM game is weak AF. How you expect us to believe your Unity game is as strong as you claim? You lying. You lying lots. |

Any monkey can make what you've shown. There's nothing impressive there.

Any monkey can make what you've shown. ^verbs on the other hand, are super fucking hard to get right. BTW, that red text isn't a good thing. Those are called errors. They aren't the engine bowing to your superior mind. They are notifications that you suck at programming. --You don't leave those in projects if it can be helped. Runtimes aren't the fun kind of bug like a grasshopper or an army of crickets. |

You take a code base from like 2009 and try to use it as fuel against me OpieOP One that I never got around to fixing.
I'm looking at BYOND and I've still yet to see anything of value. Why don't you start there instead of trying to defense a platform that should've either been updated or destroyed 5 years ago? |
