Well, last week I was looking through hub before I posted my Mystic Journey review, and came upon "Alagaësia: Trails of Tomorrow" by Fatal Entertainment, and decided to take a look at this game based on the book Eragon by Christopher Paolini. The book of Eragon is actually a very interesting fantasy book about a boy who finds a dragon egg, and ends up training the dragon, and trains himself to become a "Dragon Rider," and defeat Galbatorix, who seems to be the Antagonist of the series.
Alagaësia: Trails of Tomorrow is a text-based game, where you choose your class, fight monsters, and learn new tricks, and maybe someday fight Galbatorix, and beat the evil which plagues the Earth. Now, since this game is text-based, no graphics are needed, so no need to complain about those. The coding seems to be nice, excluding a few grammatical errors, that only Grammar Nazi's like myself would see. Sadly, the game doesn't follow the book series. It's just fight, kill, get money, buy stuff, etc. multiplied a couple-hundred times. Oddly enough, it takes quite awhile to become bored of this game once you get in to it. I enjoyed playing it, and I think any fan of Eragon would too, beings it's a great, well-rounded game, excluding the repetition of what you do. This is a must play for the aspiring fantasy/text-based game lover. I give Alagaësia: Trails of Tomorrow by Fatal Entertainment a 7 out of 10.

Next week, I will be reviewing "Mafia" by LostRealm.

I would also like to congratulate Mobius Evalon on the publication of his game "Icon Ultima," which is also the highest ranked icon utility on BYOND

Nice review, yet again.
As it happens, the audiobook of Eragon is sitting there, just waiting for me to get my car back from the mechanics...
Heh. It was actually a fairly fun game, although there was that fuckin' repetition, and the fact that there was no map, and that it was text-based. It kind of made the game seem dull without the fun of being able to see your guy attack in the turn-based battles.
