Here is a screenshot of a 3-bit game im helping someone(Neonlare) work on. Im making all the turfs/objs. he's making the bases. Im really trying to get the icons perfect, and you know its hard cause im using only 4 different colors. But tell me what you think and what I should fix, and such.

I like it!
Really really nice :D Especially with only 4 colours/shades!
It looks good, but some small issues are there. The grass tends to end very quickly. The grid is clear when you change from grass to nothing(sand?).

The small cliffs don't feel raised at all. The look more like curved rock walls.

The trees look great, but there is only one type. Even small variations of the same tree would be good. Generally speaking you should try to not repeat the exact same tree more than once per view area.

The water repeats too much. A small, random, variation in the icons would break it up a lot.

All together, however, it looks really great for 4 colors, and the entire scene is painted well.

Thanks guys, i'll post a new screenshot(A better one), right now, that was awhile ago too.

Tell me what you guys think... I know there is some mess ups in the cliff to the water, and that it is being Anti Aliased, though everything was made in only 4 colors(white, Black, Dark Gray, Light Gray).
