I really like how you made that, though it looks a bit too black in my opinion i guess that you had to compromise because of it's small size.
I do advise you though to use some dark gray to add highlights and effect of shadows.
This is used in the anime aswell !

I second what pandora said and also for this particular image the white belt doesn't move in the animation unlike the rest of the body might want to fix that.
