My First Grass Icon

This is my very first grass icon I've created. I have looked at most tutorials and I've still not gotten thehang of turf art, but I've decided to put more effort into it. Please C&C I really need it!

The real test is in the mapping, put them next to eachother and if you can tell about where each icon begins and ends then you need to change it to make it blend together better.

Doesn't seem to me to have any grid issues at first glance. Seems suitable :). Now the color choice just depends on what sort of theme he is going at, and color choice of other objects, etc.

Looks more like water to me.
Kinda shows 'waves' rather than 'blades' of grass.
