Now there I don't know any art terms but I like that hue shift. But seriously didnt you mistake forums? pixelation?

Youve got abit of banding going on at the tail, try and clean that up alittlebit. I would also do some work on the head. Granted, it doesnt have a face, but its hard to see where exactly its looking. On the left side of the dragon's stomach, i would use some darker lines to give it alittle more roundness. If not that, then definitely some AA.
I like the palette alot, aswell as the dither you put onto the wings, great job. |
omg i love dragons! haha i like it a lot
I'm still new at pixelating so i dunno if i can help you there the only i thing i see wrong is the dragon's proportions but thats someone else's lineart..ehh so nvm ^^; overall NICE DRAGON! <3<3<3 |

Ahh, i see what you mean on the stomach, and ill try to clean the tail + head area up a bit. Thank you. ;) |
Lol honestly, I don't think you can go wrong proportionally with a mythical beast like a dragon. There is no way of saying how one said, dragon, should look like. It's all in the creators imagination.

It's all in the creators imagination. You definitely can go wrong with proportion on a dragon. Whether its a mythical beast or not, its got to have some form of proportion. Unless there is a certain style that is intended. In which case, its easy to spot whether its intended or not. Im not saying all dragons do, or should look the same, by no means, but you can definitely tell the person screwed up on the lineart (the feet and the leg). When people design a creatures, especially those that are exaggerated versions of living things (a dragon is a dinosaur/giant lizard with or without wings.) they often use reference for it. This is true of most mythical creatures, like unicorns. (for dragons, i would go with reptiles (including dinosaurs) birds and bats). So you usually do have some idea of proportion based on those things. |
