What's wrong with the >> operator?

I got home yesterday and there was a message on my voicemail from my sister. She said that she heard that >> was in the hospital, but she wasn't sure which one, or what had happened. The last I had talked to him, he sounded fine.

Does anyone know anything about this?

It's nothing--he just needed his tonsils removed. You should go see him, maybe you can bum some free ice cream or something.

I spread the rumor once and the next day I was a frog weird huh :)
