DBZ The Legend Alpha
Dragon Ball GT: Genesis Alpha
Dragon Ball GT: Genesis (Ver 3.1b) Alpha
Dragon Ball GT: Genesis (Ver 3.3c) Alpha
Dragon Ball GT: Genesis (Ver 3.d) Alpha
DragonBall Hyperactive (version 0.5b) Alpha
DragonBall Hyperactive (version 0.6) Alpha
DragonBall Hyperactive (version 0.6a) Alpha
Dragonball Quest 2.2
Surely the later version should be better (though admittedly not always), why the heck can't they have one version running. Lol at DBZ SUX!! game.
I'm actually getting very tempted to make my own DBZ game in the attempt to make a DBZ game to end all others, of course this ignores the fact I'd need skill to do such a thing (either that or I'm just gonna email Funmation and dob these guys in...). Hmm, if I did make one though, I'd see if I could actually get legal permission, I don't think it'd be too hard, as I was reading through the official DBZ legal page and they seem pretty leniant.

I take it you've never heard of Bid for Power, have you? Its a Half-Life mod that was going to be about DBZ. After Funimation threatened legal action, they've removed all of the DBZ aspects and it's now just in generic anime-style. 0ouch that sucks! I was hoping and waiting for that DBZ game to come out for half-life, there's anohter coming out where you keep your battle power no matter what server you log in to... it's not finished yet. I hope funimation doesn't do that... isn't there one out for QA3? |
isn't there one out for QA3? Whoops, Bid for Power was for Quake 3. My mistake. Although, upon reading their webpage, Funimation would have allowed them to make it under certain conditions. The big one was that they had to make it through some wacky Java engine, though. They decided not to, since that engine sucks (to put it simply). -AbyssDragon |
What this place needs is more games like Morte. It's almost anways beling played...
And, it's good! It's a good game. Unlike a lot of the DBZ games... |

What's wrong with this picture? Do you actually want to hide your game among a hundred others that look on the hub to be identical, or would you rather stick out as the one interesting thing that might actually be worth joining? I look at a list like that and think "hmmm... I guess I can join Dragonsnot." |

I think you missed hte entire point of this topic. My hope is to make a game so good that people will stop playing lal the other DBZ games and jsut play one, leaving the HUB clear for other games to emerge when the dust settles. This reasoning is a bit like saying "Hmm, the U.S. has thousands and thousands of nuclear warheads, far more than we could ever need. I'll just have to build a bomb so big, so powerful, that we'll never need any other missiles ever again and we can reduce our arsenal from several thousand nukes that could obliterate human life 5 times over to ONE nuke that could obliterate human life 5 times over!" |

After Funimation threatened legal action, they've removed all of the DBZ aspects and it's now just in generic anime-style. Aw, damnit. I knew a reporter who had given me password to an FTP site with the BfP with dbz in it. I never got to download it cuz i was on a very unstable 56k and now theyve taken it down. Damn, hehe. Guess I wouldnt have many people playing with me tho. |

Actually, the Russians considered this, during the cold war, they drew up plans to convert a huge ship into one giant nuke. If it were ever detonated, the resulting fallout would plundge the world into a nuclear winter thus killing everyone. The thing was, it wouldnt be denonated by humans, it would have sensors to monitor radiation levels and if they climed too high (implying Russia had been nuked), it would auto dennonate. Luckily, even the Russians knew this was just too dangerous, so scrapped the plan. ALso if you have only one nuke, its gonna have ot be so big that'll kill yourself as well other wise youd be screwed if you were attacked from 2 different targets. |

After that, I doubt Funimation is going to grant permission to anyone. They may license you, but they won't just give you permission.
