Myself, I'm a Chef.

I'm a customer service representative for a company that sells their merchandise (mostly imported giftware) through catalogues. I haven't worked there long, but my natural flexibility, empathy, pleasant demeanor, and general good nature have already helped me to excell.

Hmm, not quite as exciting as a Lesbian Assasin but I'm sure it won't be long before your "collegues" start going missing forcing management to give you their jobs... =)

Sorry to disillusion you... maybe you'll be more excited to know that when I was in college, I supplemented my scholarship money with favors earned as a Tarot reader and general troubleshooter of the unusual.

But basically, I sit in front of an SGI all day and pretend to work.

Air works with a moisture sounder. Heh heh.

I'm a distance learning facilitator at a state university. On good days, I operate and troubleshoot teleconferencing equipment for classes via interactive television and internet. On bad days, I vacuum the DL room at my center and try to wash eraser marks from the tables.

I'm just biding my time until I can get back to school. I made a few mistakes my first time through college and need to get my personal life straightened out before I can return. (No matter what finish your degree and get a solid job before you worry about anything else, however important those other things may seem at the time. If something can't wait for you to secure your future, it's not worth it.)

I'm a computer programmer for a real estate company. I think our Information Services department has about 17 people in all... 4 programmers, a DBA, a few sysadmins and network admins, four or five Help Desk staff, and a handful of managers. Not a huge department--though it's actually quite a large IS staff for an independent brokerage.

I'm a soundtrack composer, play in a rock band, and am a professional computer geek for my main income.

Anyone curious can hear my music at http://www.mp3.com/jamiekowalski

Anyone not curious can stay safely away from it by going here http://www.dicko.org/pigspeak.html

Currently an unemployed college student (should change in a couple days, when I get a meaningless job that I despise), but used to be a preschool teacher's assistant.
