Ouch! I had a boxer's fracture about a year ago and couldn't type with my right hand.
The worst part was when he removed the cast and I couldn't move my last two fingers for a while from them going stiff. The doctor hadn't explained beforehand that it was a normal occurance, so I thought my fingers would be locked in that position forever! It got better quickly though, and now you can't even tell it had happened, well besides the fact that I am much more hestitant to throw a punch. I hope you heal quickly, with no complications :) | |

j/k man but haha, i broke my wrist once in the 2nd grade from hitting my hands against cement when i was "splashing" water. Then i fractured it in the 5th grade when were were jumping off the top bunk bed onto some pillows. There was a sheet from the bottom of the top bunk bed to teh top of my tv anchored with books so the blanket would fall down and my bro said that the pillows were in the middle so i jumped face first and then i had a wierd feeling so i rested my chin on my left wrist and i fell on my wrist and then i started to laugh. then i got a cast thingy. It was cool. *no more monkeys jumping on the bed :)* | |
nope i fractured the bone under my knuckle on my typing hand but its only hair line so it should be better in about a week so thats good. And I was playin around like wrestling with my dad and i just twisted somthing wrong gave him a bad ass dead arm though)

I broke my writing arm, but gor kinda lucky:
I had this great cast that could come on and go off really easily. They put it on because the bone was only chipped, but then I fell and broke it even worse. Still, I got to keep that cast. I could take if off for the pool, the shower, to get a little tan on it, etc. Any way, somthing good came out of my arm-breaking: now, I can write equally well with both hands. However, this does not say much: my handwriting is awful. Nearly written assignment for the last couple of years has been turned in typed. I even type up my math homework. I'll leave it at that... | |
