I have to say, after just seeing this.
The Mummy Returns sucked.
It is probably the worst movie ever made, aside from Spice World and Drowning By Numbers.
The world has become a worse place simply because this movie exists.

The world has become a worse place simply because this movie exists. I haven't seen it, though I enjoyed its predecessor. From what I've heard here and elsewhere, this one sounds like it might be worth a rental but not much more. Now if you want bad movies, try one of these: Meet the Feebles Deep Impact The Contender But of course you don't want bad movies. These aren't the "so bad it's good" kind. (In fact, I was positive "Meet the Feebles" would be that kind of movie, but I was so, so wrong.) |

What I want to know is why didn't the mummy in the first movie recognise the heroe's girl as the pharaoh's daughter, instead of mistaking her for his long lost love? Big whoopsie there! The movie had some good comedic points, and I guess the effects were nice, not top of the line, but nice....

If you happen to enjoy bad movies there is a website that reviews them: http://www.badmovies.org/
They have lots of movies including such classics as "The Tingler" and "The Blob". |
Here's one to add to the list. The top of the list. Hmm... just read some comments at IMDB.com. It sounds like it might be a good way for me to recapture the queasy despair of "Meet the Feebles" (and thereby torture my unsuspecting friends). I'll keep it in mind! |

What else would they be fated by? Probably lies. The Fates don't like people who lie. |
I disagree. I don't believe that the movie was awesome, but it was like the first -- appealing to those who like that sort of thing.
