I am making a game and i decided to make on dm file and one icon file and for the icon file just use icon states and for the one dm file put every thing in it
would it be less laged if i did it that way than use alot of dm files and icon files?
Thanx
Nope. Think of this analogy:

"I don't see why you eat all of your food separately, Jeremy. It all ends up in the same place anyway."*

In other words, all code files are stuck into one giant code file when it is processed.

Note that it is much more practical to split things into multiple .dm files, though, since it allows you to find errors more quickly if you keep code that serves a specific purpose in its own section.

Thats why I eat the steak first. :P That cow died for your meal, the least you can do is eat him/her hot and enjoy it.

flick()

(This came out a bit more disturbing than planned.)

mob/proc/eat()
if(potato == finished)
del(potato)
eating = steak

*shrug* I'm just bored!

Saying "the cow died for your meal" kinda sounds like it sacrificed itself to feed you.

Saying "The cow was slaughtered for your meal" sounds more like it was killed against its will to make a profit :-D

And it doesnt all go in the same place, Some may be absorbed as nutrients while others come back out, so they may go to the same 2 places.

I never understood this peculiar behavior (which incidentally is shared by my older brother). I am much more likely to rotate between each food selection continuously, until they all disappear around the same time.

Ok, so I guess that's equally weird. :/

We'll reach a compromise: since everyone eats weird (since you either eat everything at once or you eat it course by course), that means, logically, that no one is weird (since what is deemed "weird" is actually "normal"). Sound good?
