How'd that happen? :|

f(x)=2x+1 x = 2, solve. :O (if you can't do it, then I don't blame them for kicking you out of honors) ;)
Note: This is stupid shit that we did in Algebra II. I have to take it for credit...eventhough I've done like every math..but not for credits. -.- |

Uhh...if you can't solve that problem, then you shouldn't even leave elementary school. |
1 + 3 * 7 / 22 -9 + 3**2 + 2039 * 2 / (2/3) * 3 / 22 + 9000 - 3 * 3 + 6**6 / 200 + 9 - 33 + 17 - 92.7 + 3 * 200 - 6 * 3 - 800 * 7 / 8 + 9 + 2**10 / 3000 * 99 / 2 - 300 + 4 * 7 / 100 + 9**6 / 9 + 200 * 4**19 / 6**2 * 4**2 / 300**3 - 42 * 2 - 200 + 16**2 - 9000 + 10 * 3.5 / 9 + 3**3 / 786321) - (1802002)+(837461) + 0.5
tell me your answer i know it. P E M D A S |
I didn't get kicked out for being stupid, I got kicked out for not doing homework.
|
You messed up the parenthesis. I took out the parenthesis next to the 786321, and I got '1' as my answer.
|
You're not suppose to put parentheses against individual numbers. (1802002) doesn't mean anything different from 18020002.
|
I just kept typing stuff, then narrowing it down to 1, I know about the parentheses.

f(x)=2x+1 x = 2, solve. :O It sort of defeats the point to use function notation if you're just going to say "x = 2". You're meant to say "Work out f(2) when f(x) = 2x + 1". |
