Byond language, PHP, or HTML?

write back with your oppinion
HTML is dead easy for me, PHP is new to me, Byond is easy when you ya wanna learn it. i think Java or Javascript is hard to learn.

Html isn't a launguage, BYOND is easy, and php well I've never worked with php but it looks kinda easy.

Sorry Nadrew, but html stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. I think what you mean is that its not quite a programming language, in that it doesnt use conditional statements like if, while and such.

It may be called a language by its name but it is just as much a language as RTF is. They are both just static file formats that do nothing but display information.

Actually, if you want to be technical, that is the more precise definition of a language. Using this analogy, BYOND is a translator for the language of DM. Internet Explorer is a translator for the language of HTML. I mean, it's all just static information when it gets put it... it's how the translator interprets it and tells you the English meaning.

(In this case, English with regards to BYOND is a bunch of graphics moving around on the screen. I can't actually deem that as a human-understandable language other than 'light', so English it is. =))
